Mickelson, Goosen, Singh vault 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am field

The field for 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am keeps getting better. Among professionals, two-time U.S. Open winner Retief Goosen, three-time AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am winner Phil Mickelson and 2004 winner Vijay Singh all recently confirmed their entries. Singh was expected to be recovering from knee surgery for five weeks, but he advised tournament officials he’ll ready to competed in the tournament February 9-15 at Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills.

The celebrity field also has improved with addition of motorcycle champion Kenny Roberts, baseball star Ken Griffey, Jr., and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Ryan Manning. Goosen and Manning will be making their AT&T Pro-Am debuts. Griffey Jr. previously played in the event as the amateur partner of Mark O’Meara.
